Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily tasks under supervision, with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Create a professional, safe, and welcoming environment for patients.
  • Execute forensic and clinical specimen collections with precision.
  • Verify patient demographic info and confirm labeled specimens in the presence of the patient.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Represent the organization positively to patients, clients, coworkers, and the public.
  • Adhere to established procedures, safety protocols, and confidentiality standards.
  • Display leadership behaviors and promote process excellence.
  • Travel and work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts when needed.
  • Float between multiple locations as required with minimal notice.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent phlebotomy skills with all age groups.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Proven ability to produce quality, error-free work in a high-volume setting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Superior customer service and communication skills.
  • Commitment to company policies, safety standards, and professional conduct.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record (if applicable).
