Job Description

Summary:

• The PSR II serves as the front-line representative for patients, responsible for collecting quality blood samples and ensuring accurate specimen processing.
• This role builds trust through professional, compassionate care while maintaining confidentiality and efficiency in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens following established protocols.
• Ensure accurate patient identification and specimen labeling.
• Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to patients.
• Maintain documentation and uphold safety and quality standards.
• Support multiple locations as needed with flexibility for weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Phlebotomy certification (Required in CA, NV, WA; preferred elsewhere).
• 3+ years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record (if applicable).
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
