Job Description

Job Summary:

• The PSR I serve as the first point of contact for patients, responsible for collecting quality blood samples and preparing them for lab testing. The role ensures a safe, professional, and confidential environment while providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and process clinical/forensic specimens
• Explain procedures and build patient trust
• Maintain accurate records and protect patient information
• Support daily lab operations under supervisor guidance
• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, and staff

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Medical or phlebotomy training (preferred; certification required in CA, NV, WA)
• 6+ months experience (1+ year preferred)
• Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric/geriatric
• Customer service and data entry experience
• Flexible and reliable; able to work assigned shift, including potential weekends/OT
