Job Summary:
- Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company to patients, whether they are undergoing routine health screenings or critical diagnostic testing. This role involves collecting high-quality blood specimens and preparing them for lab testing while maintaining a professional, compassionate, and efficient approach. The PSR I is responsible for creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence, ensuring patients are comfortable and informed throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
- Maintain a safe, professional, and compliant work environment.
- Collect and process forensic and clinical specimens following established procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, colleagues, and the public.
- Provide clear explanations of procedures for patients to ease discomfort or anxiety.
Job Requirements:
- Deliver high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Exhibit excellent phlebotomy skills.
- Flexibility required — availability to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.
Education:
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 6 months phlebotomy experience.
