Job Description
Job Summary:
- Under general supervision and according to specified procedures, performs routine laboratory activities such as patient receiving, venipuncture, computer data entry, and other related duties including lab clinical functions.
Education:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- Completion of Medical Assistant or Certified Phlebotomy training program preferred.
Required Certification & Licensure:
- Must have a valid, unrestricted Michigan Driver’s license and the ability to be insured by a HFMG Insurance Carrier.
- Infection Control
- Medical terminology
- Phlebotomist
Skills:
- 6 months to one year on the job experience in venipuncture required.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Previous computer experiences preferred.
