Job Summary:
- The PSR II serves as the face of the organization, providing high-quality specimen collection and creating a professional and reassuring patient experience. This role involves skillful venipuncture, adherence to protocol, and strong attention to detail in high-volume environments. The position requires flexibility to travel between locations and adapt to changing work demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform safe and accurate blood collection (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary)
- Verify patient ID and labeling accuracy post-collection
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
- Process forensic and clinical specimens per established protocols
- Complete accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality standards
- Demonstrate professionalism and positive image to patients, clients, and staff
- Travel to multiple Patient Service Centers or physician offices as needed
- Comply with all company procedures, policies, and dress code
- Use sound judgment and decision-making under established guidelines
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred)
- Phlebotomy certification (preferred; required in CA, NV, WA)
Experience:
- Required: 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
- Preferred: 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment
- Customer service experience in retail/service settings
- Proficient in data entry and using digital systems

- Strong independent work skills in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Excellent communication, customer focus, and adaptability
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if applicable)
- Willing to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and travel with minimal notice
