Job Summary:

• As a Patient Services Representative I (PSR I), you will be the welcoming face of our organization, playing a vital role in patient care.
• You will collect high-quality blood specimens and ensure they are properly prepared for lab testing.
• Your professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to build trust with patients will be key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and provide excellent customer service.
• Collect and process blood specimens accurately and safely.
• Follow all protocols for clinical and forensic specimen collection.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentation.
• Create a safe, professional, and patient-focused environment.
• Communicate procedures clearly to patients, ensuring comfort and confidence.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and process excellence.
• Operate independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance standards.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED).
• Medical assistant or paramedic training (PREFERRED).

Work Experience:

• Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience (REQUIRED).
• 1+ years preferred.
• Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients preferred.
• Customer service experience in healthcare.
