Job Summary:

• The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is responsible for collecting blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and providing a professional, patient-focused experience.
• This role requires accuracy, strong phlebotomy skills, and the ability to build trust with patients while ensuring safety and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform blood draws (including pediatric and geriatric patients).
• Prepare and process specimens following standard procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment.
• Provide excellent customer service and patient care.
• Follow all compliance, safety, and confidentiality guidelines.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Phlebotomy experience (minimum 6 months; 1+ year preferred).
• Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred).
• Phlebotomy certification (preferred; required in some states).
• Strong data entry and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility for weekends/holidays/overtime if needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Customer service experience.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
