Job Summary:

• The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is responsible for drawing blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and providing excellent patient care. This role involves direct patient interaction, ensuring a safe, accurate, and professional experience while maintaining confidentiality and trust.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collection (venipuncture and capillary) on patients of all ages
• Prepare and process specimens following established procedures
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Ensure a safe, clean, and professional work environment
• Deliver excellent customer service and build patient confidence
• Follow all compliance, safety, and quality standards

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification (CT required)
• 6+ months experience (1+ year preferred)
• Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients preferred
• Strong data entry and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability (weekends, holidays, overtime as needed)

  Preferred Qualifications:

Medical assistant or paramedic training
Prior experience in clinical or retail service settings
