Note:
- Floaters are able to submit mileage for expense reimbursement (From Primary location to visiting location).
Overview:
- The PSR – floater represents the face of the company, delivering professional specimen collection services and ensuring exceptional patient care.
- This floater role requires travel between multiple sites, performing venipuncture and related duties while adhering to safety, accuracy, and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform skilled venipuncture (pediatric, geriatric, and capillary) and specimen processing.
- Verify patient ID and ensure accurate specimen labeling in their presence.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
- Complete documentation and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Adapt to different locations and work environments with minimal notice.
- Comply with company dress code, policies, and health/safety standards.
- Deliver high-level customer service and promote a positive company image.
Education & Experience Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 to 3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
- Floaters travel in between multiple sites and are expected to be on time at whatever site they are covering for that day.
