Job Description

Job Summary:

  1. The Phlebotomist I (Patient Services Representative I) is responsible for collecting blood specimens and supporting patient care with professionalism and accuracy.
  2. This role involves direct patient interaction, ensuring a safe, comfortable experience while following established procedures for specimen collection and processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform blood draws (including pediatric and geriatric patients).
  • Prepare and label specimens for lab testing.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Follow safety, confidentiality, and quality standards.
  • Provide excellent patient service and clear communication.
  • Work independently and meet daily operational goals.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (1+ year preferred).
  • Phlebotomy certification (preferred).
  • Medical assistant/paramedic training (preferred).
  • Strong data entry and customer service skillsy.
  • Ability to work flexible hours (weekends/holidays as needed).
