Job Summary:
- The Phlebotomist I (Patient Services Representative I) is responsible for collecting blood specimens and supporting patient care with professionalism and accuracy.
- This role involves direct patient interaction, ensuring a safe, comfortable experience while following established procedures for specimen collection and processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform blood draws (including pediatric and geriatric patients).
- Prepare and label specimens for lab testing.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Follow safety, confidentiality, and quality standards.
- Provide excellent patient service and clear communication.
- Work independently and meet daily operational goals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (1+ year preferred).
- Phlebotomy certification (preferred).
- Medical assistant/paramedic training (preferred).
- Strong data entry and customer service skillsy.
- Ability to work flexible hours (weekends/holidays as needed).
